H.R. 2909 - An act to improve the measure of poverty
Amend title XI of the Social Security Act to provide for an improved method to measure poverty so as to enable a better assessment of the effects of programs under the Social Security Act, and for other purposes.

Income, poverty and health insurance estimates -- Current Population Survey
These national estimates will be released Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009.
